Meet Dr. Friedman

As a dentist, my goal is to help each patient achieve and maintain full function, optimal oral health, and a smile they love. I incorporate advanced techniques, use leading-edge cosmetic procedures, and perform dental implants to get my patients to where they want to be.

I spend time listening to and talking with each patient. Together, we review their clinical and personal concerns, along with their care goals. I walk them through the range of treatment options, and explain how each works and what’s involved, so people can make an educated decision about their smile’s health. I want informed, engaged patients who are excited about caring for their oral health.

It’s essential that patients know I am here to help. I do not judge, I do not recommend unnecessary care, and I always approach each person’s treatment with an eye to long-term health and well-being. I want each person to achieve a healthy, wonderful smile they love, and hope to become their friend in the process.

I’ve been practicing dentistry for more than 35 years here in the Denver area. It started with a strong interest in science and healthcare, admiration for a dentist I knew while growing up, and a desire for a career that combined personal contact with science, medicine, and artistry. Dentistry was the perfect fit for my skills and passions!

Cherry Creek Dental Associates

Our office is friendly, comfortable, and efficient. You’ll always be treated with respect and as an individual. Not only will we greet you by name, we’ll remember our last conversation and regard your visits as time spent with a friend.

Education and Continuing Education

  • Undergraduate – Indiana University
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Illinois College of Dentistry

Dentistry has made incredible advances in the years since I started practicing. Today we’re able to deliver painless care, provide incredibly natural-looking and beautiful results, and customize treatment to each person’s desires.

Each year I complete many hours of continuing dental education. This keeps me current on the latest technological and treatment options and ensures I understand how they can be incorporated into the practice. I’m an active member of two study clubs: one that focuses on dental implants and the other on cosmetic dentistry, since these are two areas where my patients have the greatest need.

My continuing education has been rewarded with a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. I’m also a long-term member of the Colorado Prosthodontic Society, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a current member and previous office holder in the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Beyond the Practice

I grew up in the Chicago area and moved west to Denver in the 70s. My wife Lisa and I have raised our three children, who are now grown and have families of their own, here. We’re not true empty-nesters, because we have our dog, Aspen, who keeps us company and on the move. Aspen comes with us when we’re hiking, fishing, or snowshoeing, and loves walks in the park. She even supervises our summer gardening: sitting and watching us carefully!

Giving Back

In our office, I’ve volunteered with the Dental Lifeline Network for more than 25 years. This program offers dental care to adults on a pro bono (no fee) basis. We’re able to improve their oral health, which often enhances a person’s social, professional, and personal life.

Lisa and I are active with Habitat for Humanity. We’ve offered fundraising assistance and participated in building projects. I’ve often met patients “on the job” while working on someone’s future home!
